Daily Dose of God

This is one of those times when I am not certain as to what to type on this page.  I pray, God says “Type and I will give it to you.”  I love God.  He has a sense of humor and yet he is very serious about daily walking with Him.  If you love someone you want to be with them, right?  I love the Lord and love what He has done for me in sending His Son, Jesus to save me from all my sins.  But do I take Him with me on a daily basis?  Do I think He is in the car with me driving down the road?  Is he walking next to me in the grocery store?  How about sitting there in the living room while we watch our favorite show or baseball team?  Yes, He is there in every step we take during the day.  He wants to be a part of every moment of our day!  He loves us and wants to be with us.  We just have to acknowledge Him.

Psalm 139:7-10
Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
If I ascend to heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there.
If I take the wings of the dawn,
If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,
Even there Your hand will lead me,
And Your right hand will lay hold of me.

I have been driving down the street talking to God sometimes when I know someone in the next car looked at me and wondered… but nowadays with the Blue Tooth technology, they probably thought I was just talking to someone on my phone.  Lol.  Well, God may not be a contact on our phone, but you know what?  He was and is and always will be.  That’s all… just He Is!

Revelation 1:8
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Jeremiah 23:23-24
“Am I a God who is near,” declares the Lord,
“And not a God far off?
“Can a man hide himself in hiding places
So I do not see him?” declares the Lord.
“Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?” declares the Lord.

We need to remember that moment by moment. He wants to share our daily events with us.  He wants you to talk to Him as if He were a friend.  You can be totally honest with Him in all you say.  Yes, even that slip of that word you are not “supposed” to say.  He knows our hearts.  He knows our minds.  Get to a quiet place and tell Him what you think of the day!

Psalm 46:10
   He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
    I will be exalted among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth.”

Tell Him what you think of anything.  He is there to listen!  He is our closest friend and companion!  He wants to hear from you! He loves to spend time with you… after all He calls you His beloved.

In Him,
Leah
